About the Opportunity

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is currently seeking a Systems Engineer – End User Computing to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, the Systems Engineer – End User Computing is responsible for delivering technology initiatives that ensure the effective day to day operation of CSPD’s End User Computing systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, implement, and test End User Computing (EUC) services, ensuring solutions are built to design specifications and aligned with organisational, regulatory, and ISO standards.

  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and manage risks associated with EUC services and remediation initiatives, escalating complex issues appropriately to maintain high service standards.

  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective EUC and collaboration solutions that balance user experience, security, and operational efficiency.

  • Conduct technical assessments, proofs of concept (PoCs), and roadmap planning to support cloud migration projects and hybrid workspace environments.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users, resolving project and operational issues to ensure optimal EUC performance and availability.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and ISO requirements, maintaining robust governance and audit readiness.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of network fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Safe Internet Services, and endpoint security policies.

  • Lead large-scale transformation projects, presenting progress, outcomes, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

  • Utilise expertise with Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools such as Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint to deliver effective workplace solutions.
