Senior Procurement Category Specialists

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) has an exciting opportunity for two Senior Procurement Category Specialists to join our dynamic and growing Procurement team.

These newly created positions are an opportunity to  shape CSPD’s procurement strategy and deliver tangible value across CSPD’s network of 80+ schools and central office operations. We are seeking experienced and motivated professionals who are passionate about strategic sourcing, stakeholder collaboration, and driving continuous improvement in procurement outcomes.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Parramatta, within a supportive and forward-thinking team that values innovation, collaboration and excellence.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Develop and deliver category strategies that align with CSPD’s strategic and operational objectives

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities and supplier relationships to achieve best value outcomes

• Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders

• Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions within procurement

• Support the delivery of CSPD’s sustainability and ethical sourcing objectives

• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement

Qualifications, Accreditations & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, business, or a related discipline

• Strong experience in procurement, contract management, and category management

• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and build effective supplier relationships

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

• Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance, or willingness to obtain one
