About the Opportunity
As a Presiding Officer, you will oversee the supervision and successful conduct of HSC examinations within the school. Working closely with Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD), responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating a team of exam supervisors
- Monitoring and managing student conduct during examinations
- Collaborating with the school to prepare and manage examination spaces
- Being available for the full examination period
- Organising and securing examination materials before and after each exam
- Supporting the implementation of approved disability provisions for students
- Ensuring all NESA administrative and security procedures are followed accurately and consistently
About You
You will also demonstrate:
- A valid Working With Children Check clearance for employment
- Access to a vehicle with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance and a current driver’s licence
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, email systems and downloading documents
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to effectively manage students and supervise teams

The successful applicant must be available to supervise HSC Examinations.
Please note the following eligibility requirements for employment as a Presiding Officer:
- Applicants cannot have a child, near relative or close friend sitting the 2026 Higher School Certificate Examinations
- Current staff employed at St John Paul II Catholic College, Schofields & Nirimba are not eligible for appointment as Presiding Officer.
