About the Opportunity

Employment Type: Ongoing Full-time

FTE/Hours: 1 FTE (76 hours per fortnight)

Allowances: 2 Coordinator Points

 

Step into a high-impact leadership role with Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese’s - School of Now as our next Stage 6 Leading Teacher.

 

Blending innovative online delivery with dynamic face-to-face learning, School of Now expands opportunities for Stage 6 students across a diverse range of Preliminary and HSC courses. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 2 Point Coordinator time and pay allowance, offering hybrid working conditions, stability and recognition of your expertise.

 

This role will lead an established team of Stage 6 subject specialists and support a blended teaching and learning environment across a range of senior secondary curriculum areas. Experience teaching Stage 6 Engineering Studies and other Stage 6 TAS subjects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

The Leading Teacher - School of Now is accountable for:

  • Supporting the coordinating of School of Now operations, including managing enrolments and the blended learning curriculum delivery

  • Collaborating with leadership at system and school level to ensure resourcing needs are met

  • Supporting the design and delivery of professional learning to build teacher capacity

  • Monitoring and supervising the work of a team of Stage 6 subject specialists

  • Collaborating with stakeholders in the coordination and delivery of classes

  • Planning, teaching and assessing Stage 6 coursework in alignment with NESA syllabus requirements and School of Now policies
