We’re looking for a detail-oriented and service-driven HR Operations Officer to join our hard working and friendly HR Operations Team on a permanent full time basis.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient support, maintaining accurate and compliant records across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Operations Officer is accountable for:

Maintaining detailed knowledge and records of People & Culture service areas and answering employee enquiries about processes, procedures and communications

Managing tier one and two support requests, escalating tickets to relevant parties through the ticketing system and other channels

Responding to employee service needs such as document requests, employment form completion, onboarding assistance, employee data maintenance, classifications, payroll processing and other HR functions as assigned

Supporting the delivery of fortnightly pay cycle processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency

Ensuring adherence to Enterprise Agreement provisions and legislation, including seeking advice and support from the relevant Centres of Expertise across People & Culture as required to assist with employee requests

Maintaining accurate employee data within the HRIS ecosystem

Supporting the delivery of People & Culture projects, initiatives and general administrative services, as required

Strong communication and organisational skills with a solutions-focused approach

Sound knowledge of HR systems and processes

Strong attention to detail and proactivity

Ability to interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements and relevant employment legislation

Relevant tertiary qualifications or a related field (desirable)
