We’re looking for an ongoing full-time HR Operations Lead who can bring structure, innovation, and leadership to our HR processes and systems. If you’re passionate about building efficient processes and empowering team members, this role is for you.

 

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force of the HR Operations team - ensuring our processes, systems, and policies are effective, compliant, and accurate. You’ll drive continuous improvement, optimise service delivery and empower the HR Operations team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Operations Lead is accountable for: 

  • Leading and coordinating the accurate and timely delivery of HR operations activities, including the maintenance and updating of employee records 

  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of HR operations processes, procedures and workflows to support effective and consistent team and organisation-wide practices 

  • Coaching and guiding HR Operations team members to build capability, improve accuracy and ensure effective knowledge sharing and compliance with established standards 

  • Utilising reporting to proactively identify and rectify data or process discrepancies, mitigating risks such as payroll errors and compliance breaches Partnering with teams across People & Culture Directorate to ensure best practices are implemented and adhered to, engaging with relevant Centres of Expertise across People & Culture as required to assist with employee requests 

  • Maintaining strong knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and legislation to identify issues and support People & Culture Centres of Expertise in the resolution of complex employee enquiries 

  • Providing exemplary employee experience and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field.

  • Proven experience leading a service or support function (preferably in HR or payroll).

  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.

  • A proactive leader with a passion for people, process improvement and service excellence.

  • Excellent attention to detail skills
