Our Finance Team is seeking a Financial Analyst, accountable for enhancing CSPD’s enterprise‑wide financial insight, modelling and reporting capability. The role contributes to the delivery of high‑quality analysis, robust modelling and strong data integrity that underpin strategic planning, resource allocation and informed decision‑making across the organisation. This role is ongoing, full-time.

About You

Analytical modelling capability — You design, maintain and improve financial models that support forecasting, resource allocation and strategic planning.

Insightful reporting — You build dashboards and reporting solutions that enhance decision‑making and support self‑service reporting across diverse stakeholders.

Commercial analysis — You provide proactive financial and scenario analysis to assess strategic initiatives, operational changes and capital investments.

Risk & opportunity identification — You monitor key performance drivers, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and provide clear recommendations.

Collaborative problem‑solver — You partner effectively with Workforce Planning, Schools, Finance and other directorates to analyse workforce, enrolment, funding and operational performance data.

Data integrity focus — You ensure financial data accuracy across systems, resolving inconsistencies and responding to ad‑hoc analysis requests with precision.
Desirable Experience

Financial modelling — Experience developing forecasting, resource allocation and strategic planning models.

Dashboard/reporting tools — Capability building dashboards and reporting solutions that support organisational insight and self‑service reporting.

Scenario & commercial analysis — Background conducting scenario modelling for strategic, operational and capital decisions.

Performance analysis — Experience analysing workforce, enrolment, funding, procurement or operational performance data.

Allocation methodologies — Exposure to reviewing or enhancing staffing formulas, funding distribution models or resource allocation frameworks.

Treasury & capital modelling — Experience contributing to treasury, borrowing or capital forecasting models.

Data quality & systems — Experience ensuring data integrity across financial systems and supporting system improvements (e.g., Workday functionality)
