Job Title:  Leader of Data, Systems and Processes - Coordinator 3
Posting Start Date:  25/05/2026
Posting End Date:  09/06/2026
Job Description:

The School

Having commenced in 2017 with 86 students across Kindergarten to Year 6, St Luke's at Marsden Park is a Catholic learning community within the Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD). Our vision is to nurture faith-filled, curious children as they become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world. Every student is on a journey of becoming, and our role is to walk alongside them as they grow into the fullness of their potential.

This vision is realised through the CSPD Uplift strategy, which calls us to enrich students' lives through excellence, inclusivity and the richness of our Catholic tradition. We educate the whole person — Head, Heart and Hands — where learning is sacred, relational and transformative. Through the Strive Thrive Learn framework, we provide the right support at the right time, ensuring every student is known, valued and connected as they progress toward who they are called to become. In 2026 we have enrolled 1800+ students from Kindergarten to Year 12, in addition to 77 children per day in our long day care centre.

The Role

The Leader of Data, Systems and Processes is responsible for leading a team of staff that manages the operational architecture that enables St Luke’s Catholic College to function effectively day-to-day and improve year-on-year. The role is accountable for the systems, data, infrastructure, and processes that enable teaching, learning, and college operations across K–12. It ensures the right information reaches the right people at the right time, that core operational rhythms run reliably, and that compliance obligations are met.

We are looking for an organised leader with strong capability across systems, processes and people. This role oversees a team of coordinators, each holding specialist expertise within their own portfolio. The successful applicant will lead this team to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes across the full scope of the role's responsibilities.

We do not expect any single candidate to bring deep expertise across every area. What matters is the capacity to lead specialists well, to build effective systems and processes that hold the work together, and to support each coordinator to operate confidently within their domain. The school will provide training and development in areas where the successful applicant is building knowledge, recognising that leadership of a specialist team is distinct from being the technical expert in every function.

  • Lead the construction, maintenance and review of the K–12 timetable.
  •  Provides strategic leadership of a team which includes the coordinator of Daily Organiser - who completes the morning daily organisation including replacements, room changes and staff coverage.
  • Coordinate the school calendar, exam timetables, reporting cycles and college events. Ensure operational rhythms are planned, communicated and executed without disruption to teaching and learning.
  • Ensure systems, processes and physical environments meet regulatory and diocesan requirements, and that incidents and risks are escalated and managed appropriately.
  • Oversee the operation and management of shared learning and operational spaces, ensuring they are well-utilised, well-maintained and aligned with the college’s pedagogical approach.

Technology leadership

  • Provide line management and strategic direction to the IT department, including the Coordinator of IT (Level 6), IT Support Technicians and IT Trainees.
  • Ensure IT services support teaching, learning and administration reliably, and that IT system-related decisions align with the college’s educational and operational priorities.
  • Manage budgets for IT, library, and operational systems.
  • Keep college data accessible through dashboards and reports that inform decisions
  •  Maintain dashboards and reporting structures that make data accessible and actionable.
  • Support the principal in engaging key stakeholders such as parents, carers, and external providers.

Any other duties as directed by the Principal.

  • Demonstrated experience leading operational, data or systems functions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and actions
  • Proven capability in managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Sound understanding of WHS and compliance obligations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across teaching, support and leadership
    teams
  • Commitment to the mission and identity of Catholic education
  • Accreditation to teach with NESA
