Marian Catholic College Kenthurst is seeking a passionate full-time (1.0 FTE) Religious Education Teacher for a temporary secondment across 2026 and 2027. Marian is a caring, connected community with a family-like atmosphere that brings together parents, students, and staff.

 

As a co-educational, comprehensive Catholic secondary school catering for over 1000 students from Years 7–12, we deliver an innovative curriculum designed to meet the interests and needs of our learners. 

Key Responsibilities

As a Religious Education Teacher at Marian Catholic College, you will:

 

  • Deliver engaging lessons that cater to the learning needs of all students

  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment

  • Provide appropriate notice and feedback on assessment tasks in line with College requirements

  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies to support student learning

  • Work collaboratively within the College community to set high, achievable goals for yourself and your students

About You

  • Current qualifications and experience teaching Religious Education

  • Strong ICT skills with a willingness to integrate technology meaningfully

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, ensuring reporting deadlines are met

  • The ability to motivate students and foster a love of learning

  • Flexibility to differentiate learning activities and assessments

  • A willingness to be an active member of the Marian community
