Emmaus Catholic College is seeking an experienced and faith-filled Assistant Principal to join our dynamic and welcoming Catholic secondary school community on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Opportunity
As Assistant Principal, you will play a key role in supporting the Principal to lead a thriving Catholic secondary school community. We are seeking an experienced educational leader who is passionate about fostering excellence in learning, wellbeing and faith formation while contributing to the strategic direction of the College.
This role presents an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader to make a meaningful impact within a high-performing secondary school while continuing to grow their leadership capability within one of Australia's largest Catholic education systems.
You will:

Lead and support high-quality teaching and learning practices that improve student outcomes.

Foster a strong Catholic culture and promote the mission and values of Catholic education.

Build the capacity of staff through coaching, mentoring and professional learning.

Champion student wellbeing, inclusion and engagement across the College.

Develop positive partnerships with students, families, parish and the wider community.

Work collaboratively as a member of the Senior Leadership Team to achieve school and system priorities.

Support strategic improvement initiatives through evidence-informed leadership and decision-making.

Qualifications and Accreditation
Candidates must:

Meet the requirements of Category E Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead, or be willing to achieve these requirements within their first contract term.

Hold a valid Working with Children Check.

Hold NESA accreditation.

A copy of their Category D or E Accreditation.

A Parish Priest Recommendation.

A copy of their Baptism Certificate.
