Santa Sophia Catholic College is seeking an Instructional Coach (2 Point Coordinator) to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the role:

We are looking for a passionate Instructional Coach to foster collaborative leadership and evidence-based practices. In this role, you will be crucial in developing our teachers' professional skills to maximise their impact on student learning. This position attracts two coordinator points:

You will work closely with the leadership team and teachers to:

• Provide in-situ support to K-2 teachers through co-planning, co-teaching, modeling, and providing explicit feedback.
  
  

• Collaborate with teachers and leaders to analyse data, identify trends, and determine next steps for student and teacher learning.
  
  

• Implement and evaluate the school's improvement plans, focusing on enhancing literacy and numeracy outcomes in K-2.
  
  

• Facilitate professional learning sessions and participate in co-teaching and modeling within K-2 literacy and numeracy blocks.
  
  

The ideal candidate will be an expert teacher with a proven track record of improving student outcomes. You will also have:

• An accredited tertiary qualification in education.
  
  

• The capacity to work collaboratively with other professionals to improve practice.
  
  

• A valid NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) classification and a Working with Children Check.
  
  

• A commitment to ongoing professional learning and a passion for building teacher capacity.
