About the Opportunity
St Patricks Primary is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Leader of Learning: STEM & Humanities to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.
The Leader of Learning will fit the following criteria:

Demonstrates deep knowledge and expertise across STEM and Humanities, with the ability to lead high-quality, evidence-based teaching and learning practices in these areas.

Knowledge and understanding of the new Science & Technology and HSIE syllabuses
-
Models innovative and contemporary pedagogy that supports explicit teaching, inquiry, creativity, problem-solving and critical thinking across K–6.

Leads data-informed decision-making to improve student learning outcomes, using assessment, evidence and feedback to drive continuous improvement

Builds teacher capacity through coaching, mentoring and professional learning aligned with school and system priorities.

Collaborates with staff to design and implement rich, integrated learning experiences that reflect NSW syllabuses and future-focused learning expectations.

Actively contributes to a positive, inclusive and faith-filled school culture grounded in the Catholic mission and values of St Patrick’s Primary.

Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff and families, promoting respectful relationships and a connected school community.

About You
To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of St Patricks Primary along with:

Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance

Tertiary Qualification in Education

Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) - conditionally accredited teachers and new graduates are welcome to apply

Demonstrated knowledge or experience on student wellbeing focused programs and/or initiatives

Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.
