About the Opportunity
Patrician Brothers' College Blacktown is a vibrant and future-focused Catholic secondary school committed to excellence in boys education. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grounds Maintenance Officer who is qualified in carpentry to join our team on a part-time Temporary basis for the remainder of the 2026 school year.

The successful candidate
-
Experience working in a woodwork workshop, or similar practical environment

Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experienced in monitoring stock levels and ordering and delivering materials to the workshops
-
Skilled in cutting and sorting timber
-
Holds experience in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environment
-
Comfortable and qualified to occasionally drive a Light Rigid Vehicle (school bus)

Qualifications and accreditations

Hold a Trade Qualification (preferrable in Carpentry)
