Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Science lessons (across Years 7–12, depending on specializstion) that foster students’ curiosity, intellectual, and moral development.

• Create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment with effective behaviour management strategies.

• Use assessment data to inform teaching practice and enhance student learning outcomes across all stages of Science education.

• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community, promoting Catholic values in everyday practice.

• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in learning and teaching practice within the Science faculty.

Qualifications

• Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check clearance).

• Accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

• Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year teaching degree or 75% complete) with a major in Science.

• Experience in supporting diverse learning needs is an advantage.
