Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging Science lessons (across Years 7–12, depending on specializstion) that foster students’ curiosity, intellectual, and moral development.

Create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment with effective behaviour management strategies.

Use assessment data to inform teaching practice and enhance student learning outcomes across all stages of Science education.

Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community, promoting Catholic values in everyday practice.

Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in learning and teaching practice within the Science faculty.

Qualifications

Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check clearance).

Accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year teaching degree or 75% complete) with a major in Science.

Experience in supporting diverse learning needs is an advantage.
