Caroline Chisholm College is seeking a caring and dedicated Teachers Aide to join our team on a temporary full-time basis from 20 July 2026 to 18 June 2027.

Job Summary

In this role you will work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to:-

  • Support the learning and wellbeing of students in classroom settings

  • Assist individual students and small groups to engage meaningfully with learning tasks

  • Contribute to the implementation of personalised learning plans

  • Support teachers in delivering curriculum and classroom activities including the use of technological devices and support aides to support learning

  • Skills to assist in Diversity initiatives for student supported learning workshops

  • Help maintain an inclusive, positive and safe learning environment.

Qualifications, Accreditations and Experience

The successful applicant will bring:

  • A genuine commitment to the mission and ethos of Catholic education;

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction when required

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A caring, patient and supportive approach to working with students

  • Experience in providing administrative support;

  • A willingness to contribute to school life;

  • A Certificate III or IV in School Based Education Support (either completed or currently studying) or either studying/completing tertiary education studies.

  • A valid Working with Children Check clearance (as required under NSW Child Protection Legislation)
