Gilroy Catholic College is looking for a Part time Teacher's Assistant.

 

Please note that there are no fixed fortnightly hours assigned to this position. We’re happy to negotiate weekly hours with the successful candidate based on our operational needs and their availability

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Support of the mission, teachings, and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools

  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff members in supporting the implementation of individual, small group and whole class learning programs, including the use of technological devices and support aides to support learning.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to support the learning and support needs of their students.

  • Capacity to work effectively as a member of a team and community.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the legislation surrounding all children with additional needs.

 

Typical Experience and Qualifications

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study (please provide Transcripts)
  • Appropriate demonstrated experience
  • Experience in providing administration support.
