What you’ll be doing

  • Teaching PDHPE across Stages 4–6 using engaging, explicit and evidence-based practice.

  • Creating supportive, inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of all students.

  • Delivering high-quality teaching that promotes lifelong health, wellbeing and physical activity.

  • Using technology effectively to enhance learning, assessment and feedback.

  • Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver consistent, high-quality learning experiences.

  • Motivating students to achieve their personal best and develop positive attitudes towards health, fitness and lifelong learning.

  • Implementing effective classroom management practices that foster safe, respectful and engaging learning environments.

  • Supporting College sporting programs and co-curricular activities where appropriate.

  • Continuously improving practice through professional learning and reflective teaching.

  • Demonstrating a commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and actively supporting the Catholic life of the College.

Qualifications, Accreditations and Experience

  • Tertiary Qualification in Education (or fourth year student)

  • NESA Accreditation (Conditional Accreditation also accepted)

  • Statements of Service

  • Commitment to meeting CSPD’s Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements as part of employment
