Gilroy Catholic College is seeking a passionate PDHPE / CAFS Teacher to join our welcoming, faith-filled community on a temporary full-time basis.

In this role, you will teach Years 7–10 PDHPE and Stage 6 CAFS, supporting students to grow academically, personally, and spiritually in a supportive and values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Years 7–10 PDHPE and Stage 6 CAFS
  • Plan, prepare and assess learning programs in line with NESA syllabus requirements
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment
  • Monitor and support student wellbeing, progress and achievement
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support faculty and whole-school initiatives
  • Contribute to the pastoral care and broader life of the College
  • Uphold and support the Catholic ethos and values of the school

About You

 

  • Qualified teacher with NESA accreditation (or eligibility)
  • Experience teaching PDHPE and/or CAFS
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and academic growth
  • Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College
