We are seeking a teacher for mathematics years 7 - 11 and/or PDHPE years 7 - 10.  This is a parental leave cover for term 1, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encourage and support the Catholic culture, mission and religious ethos of Gilroy Catholic College
  • Give personal witness and model Gospel values while actively supporting the College Mission, “We all strive to learn, achieve and progress as we walk in the light of Christ”
  • Actively supports the College Framework within the Spiritual, Curriculum, Professional Development, Pastoral Care, Teaching and Learning, Assessment and Evaluation domains
  • Support the implementation of Diocesan and College initiatives
  • Supports their KLA Leader of Learning to implement Faculty initiatives and plans
  • Undertakes professional learning.
  • An outstanding knowledge of the relevant subject areas
  • Extensive pedagogical knowledge base and understanding of how the identified subject areas are learned, what affects students’ opportunities to learn the subject matter and how the learning and teaching of the subject matter can be enhanced
  • Other duties as requested by the College Principal
