St Angela's Primary are looking for a Temporary Diversity Teacher (4 days a week), commencing Term 2, 2026 for the remainder of the year. 

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Have an understanding of contemporary approaches for primary years learners 

  • Have Knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas

  • Be knowledgeable on a variety of online and multimedia programs to support student learning 

  • Have the ability to make content meaningful to students at different levels

  • Have a willingness to learn and a commitment to your own professional development

  • Have well-developed communication, administration and interpersonal skills

  • Have a natural aptitude and drive to work with and within a collaborative team environment

  • Structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of each student 

  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans. 

  • Interpret and use student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performance 

  • Effectively manage the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing and  providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers

  • Engage with our school community within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students
