About the School Administration Officer/Reception Opportunity

Nagle College Blacktown is seeking a School Administration Officer to join our front office team in an ongoing part-time capacity. This role will be based at Reception and will play a key part in supporting the leadership team and the daily operations of the school. The working days and hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:15pm.

The variety of your role will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and providing general administrative support across the school

  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and administrative documentation as required
  • Maintaining and updating manual and electronic filing systems, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of records

  • Managing and distributing mail, typing correspondence and undertaking data entry

  • Ordering stationery and equipment supplies

  • Maintaining the tidiness and booking register of conference and meeting rooms

About you

To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of Nagle College Blacktown, along with:

  • Demonstrated experience in a receptionist or administration role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office (highly advantageous)

  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and quality in assigned tasks
