Key focus areas
The Head of Learning is responsible for the organisation and implementation of teaching, learning, assessment and reporting in the College
The Head of Learning mentors the Leaders of Learning, and oversees their work in these roles
The Head of Learning works closely with the Principal and Assistant Principals to enact the vision of learning for the College, and implement the CSPD systemic strategic intent
The Head of Learning liaises with NESA to ensure the College meets all regulatory NSW curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Education.
Current NESA Accreditation.
Valid Working with Children Check.
Demonstrated leadership experience, such as leading a stage or equivalent role.
The Organisation
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD'S Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
