The Opportunity:
Our team at St Matthew's is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher's Aide to provide support and assistance to our teachers. More specifically, Teacher's Aides are accountable for:
Support of the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines
Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel
Strong planning and organisation skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work
The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of St Canice’s Primary School along with:
Relevant qualification or industry experience
Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check (Paid Employee) Clearance
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork
Strong planning and organisation skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work
Able to motivate students to achieve and develop a life-long love of learning
