The Opportunity:

Our team at St Matthew's is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher's Aide to provide support and assistance to our teachers. More specifically, Teacher's Aides are accountable for:

  • Support of the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel
  • Strong planning and organisation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work

The Successful Candidate:

To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of St Canice’s Primary School along with:

  • Relevant qualification or industry experience
  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check (Paid Employee) Clearance
  • Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work
  • Able to motivate students to achieve and develop a life-long love of learning
