R ole specifics:
Classroom Teacher to commence Term 1, 2025
Temporary, full-time opportunity until end of year 2025
Teacher to collaborate with our dynamic teaching team to assist all of our students to achieve success
About the opportunity:
Have a sound knowledge of, and, commitment to the Mission of the Catholic school and possess relevant Religious Education qualifications.
Have a high standard of competency and proficiency as a teacher and be familiar with best practices, especially in developing the literacy and numeracy skills of students with learning difficulties.
Demonstrate knowledge of how to use targeted feedback and data to inform teaching and learning in order to create differentiated teaching programs that cater for the needs of all students, especially vulnerable students.
Communicate and work collaboratively in teams to plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate learning, including but not limited to individual student personalised plans.
Enable students to use information technology on a daily basis in order to enhance their learning.
Be committed to delivering a child-centred approach to education, where the students are actively engaged in the learning.
Be committed to ongoing professional learning as a member of a professional learning community.
Be willing to contribute to the broader aspects of school life.
