About the opportunity:

Nagle Catholic College is seeking an Administration Officer to support the operation and clerical requirements of the school as well as managing the daily schedule of the school.  This position is temporary full time for 12 months.

The Administration Officer Level 4 responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Coordination of leave approvals, timetables and rosters.

  • Assisting with WHS issues and implementation of WHS management system, including checking licences of onsite contractors;

  • Providing assistance in various financial management tasks, specifically administration and follow up of school fees

  • Responding to enquiries from students, parents, employees, and the general public;

  • Providing administrative support and preparing both confidential and general correspondence;

  • A wide range of professional support, administration, secretarial and clerical duties, including typing, word processing, data entry, maintaining email and computerised records, database information, staff recruitment administration, casual administration including booking and payment of casuals, Google applications, electronic rolls, attendance records, student enrolments, student information;

  • Undertaking reception and general office duties

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High level of professionalism – face to face, over the phone and through correspondence

  • Self-motivated individual, who displays a pro-active style, has exceptional attention to detail and an inherent desire to provide excellent customer service

  • Appropriate demonstrated experience 


This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
