We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to be accountable for providing high quality administrative support in the Finance & Administration area.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity for 12 months.

The Administration Officer is accountable for:

  • Acting as a key department contact, answering and directing enquiries as they arise
  • Maintaining accurate and accessible team data using available system tools

  • Collating team data into required documentation; reports, presentations, minutes, submissions, team communications etc.

  • Maintaining the service area or department space and physical assets

  • Coordination of calendars, meetings and events (such as the FAS forum each school term)

  • General administrative support as required

  • Regularly update communications to schools via the internal communications noticeboard (NeedToKnow)

Typical Experience and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study
  • Appropriate demonstrated experience
  • Demonstrated confidence interacting with stakeholders (ideally in an education space)
  • High level of customer service ethic

The Organisation

Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney. 

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CEDP’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
