We are seeking a school leader to be accountable for leading the learning of diversity at St John XXIII Catholic Learning Community, K-12, Stanhope Gardens through collaboration, instructional leadership, supporting evidence-based practice and a commitment to their own learning.

The Team Leader Diverse Learning:

  • Contributes to the delivery of the system strategic intent within the local school context
  • Exercises Catholic leadership and fosters the faith formation of students and staff
  • Leads the implementation of the wellbeing and diversity framework and school action plan
  • Creates and maintains an effective partnership with families and carers to support and improve students’ achievement and personal development
  • Mentors and coaches teachers to make appropriate adjustments or interventions for students at the point of need
  • Coordinates the personalised planning process and collaborates with Leaders of Learning Pathways and stakeholders on developing personalised plans for students
  • Identifies and coordinates internal and external stakeholders, support services and agencies to respond to the needs of students including providers for diagnostic testing and assessment
  • Tracks, reports and meets compliance of assigned areas of responsibility and components of registration and accreditation in accordance with school, system and legislative requirements

Typical Experience and Qualifications:

  • Accredited tertiary qualification in education or degree in a specific discipline with a graduate degree in teaching  
  • Demonstrated experience working in a leadership position in a school setting
  • Working with Children Check
  • Australian resident or citizen
